Avalanche
Player: Curveball
Map: Cannon
Avalanche is a singular mod containing many other sub-mods and features including a money mod, custom maps, more lifts, sandboxes, tree brush and much, much more! Avalanche also enables the ability to turn mods, features and other settings on / off. Recently a bigger variety of lifts have been added including chondolas, magic carpets and even pulse lifts! Avalanche was developed by Chazzvader, but overtime with help from the community it has grown to over 100 maps in size with many other contributions from everyone on all aspects. You can even build a resort on your backdoor! Check out some awarded player made resort creations here.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why is there no Steam Workshop?
Modding is not officially supported but is encouraged. A steam workshop would require large amounts of moderation which is just not possible with the state of the game and managment currently :/
My installer states 'invalid version', what do i do?
Otherwise open steam, rigth click on Snowtopia, go to properties, local files then click verify integrity of game files. Wait for this process to finish and then try the installer again.
How can i change my mod settings?
Make sure snowtopia is not running then go to your install location (where Snowtopia.exe is) then open the ModData folder. You will see files named Basic(.cfg), Construction(.cfg) etc. Right click one and press edit with notepad. You can now change any of these values and settings (and remember to save the file after).

How can I access cheats / unlock everything?
Firstly open Basic.cfg with the guide above and edit the value 'int enable_cheats 0' to '1' then save. Press 'i' to open the cheat menu in game or 'o' to finish a construction immediately.

About us
Player: Curveball
Map: Stowe
To begin with, modding in Snowtopia started on the original discord channel with small low-key hacks; however, this all changed when the game was release into Open Access. In February 2021, Tea began work on the open google doc modding guide, growing slowly as many players contributed their hacks and little features.
Not long after, Chazzvader started developing Avalanche taking us to where we are today - it gradually became bigger and bigger increasingly to cover a wider range of aspects to the game. With help from Tea, when an installer was made and the Discord Server was introduced, maps from a huge variety of creators began to pop up. This resulted in a boom of locations accross the globe leading us to over 100 maps to date (You can check these out in the Explore Maps button on the navigation bar).
Finally, this website was made alongside a 0.15.09 LTS and hopefully, eventually, with the final release of the game - new work will begin, perhaps rising the horizons for any new blizzard we may face.
